      <title>Sky Q box has died</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My Sky Q box has finally stopped working, no picture or sound. This started about a week ago, box &amp;nbsp;response slower than normal, and recordings stalling and box feeezng, checked hard drive and only 50% full, . Rang Sky on Monday and on the phone for 45 mins going through protocol checks, ended up resetting settings and when that didn't work reset the hard drive (which lost all my recordings ) neither of which worked. Just before finishing call Sky rep said they would have to send out an engineer and when she told me the date I nearly lost it......... 29th Mar, I have no picture or sound at this time! I am ringing Sky &amp;nbsp;tomorrow to see if I can get an earlier appointment or cancellation, &amp;nbsp;other than that I will be looking at alternatives . I will also not be paying for a service which is not being provided!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Work through the following link&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-box-wont-turn-on" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-box-wont-turn-on&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you cannot solve your issue there is the option to order a replacement box&lt;BR /&gt;Ordering a new Q box usually means a doorstep swap.&lt;BR /&gt;Don’t forget to keep your viewing card from the failed box if you order a replacement. Also if the box you are replacing is a 2TB there are two versions of power supply. One has a standard C7 (figure of eight) power lead socket in the back of the Q box. The other has a separate power supply. Although this still has the C7 power lead into the power supply there is a multi pin Din power socket in the Q box for connecting the power supply. Make sure that the replacement box has the power supply included if the Q box has the orange coded multi pin din socket in the back of the Q box. See below.&lt;/P&gt;
