My Sky Q remote volume and power button aren't working.

My Sky Q remote volume and power button aren't working. All the other buttons are. I have tried doing the & &9 1&3 but then when itry to find my TV it says that my tv is not on the list. It is a Samsung and it has been working for the last 18 months.

I have disconnected everything and rebooted to no avail.

Any other suggestions?

@John240 when you reset your remote have you tried saying that you do not know your model then trying all the options you are given for Samsung TV's

I tried all 8 options. When I keyed in the actual model number it said it doesn't support that model number. Which is not true because as I said it worked before.

This exact issue has happened to me. Suddenly my new Samsung tv which was working fine now isn't supported. What do we do????

It turns out my Samsung ocb box had become unpaired as well. Since everything runs through this box I assume it affected the sky volume as well. Try pairing your Samsung remote first. (Google it)
