      <description>&lt;P&gt;Tell me sky aren't slowing your Q boxes down when you don't use there internet!&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;went with Lila connect as they are the only gigabit provider in my area and were also cheaper since have 500mbps internet with another provider my sky box has gone from downloading a 4K HDR show in a few minutes to taking well over an hour. My older internet (sky) was 58mbps None of the help guides have sorted this issue either telly me why with 10X quicker internet my box is downloading 100X slower!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No through wifi as it's always been my router outputs both 2.4 and 5ghz so that shouldn't be a problem it should still be picking up a much higher speed signal than before the box is also well ventilated&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Your router may have 2.4 and 5GHz enabled but it will only use the former for your new provider.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That may not explain the difference but obviously the throughput will only be as fast as the slowest part of the complete route. &amp;nbsp; Published speeds are peak and won't be achieved from all sources.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is a Sky problem and they will not fix it as they report it's a you problem&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I my sky q box speed test on Netflix shows 3.98 Mbps when my smart tvs netflix is showing 66.35Mbps from the same connection now I know it's not a bandwidth issue as all other devices work fine and I have a gig connection&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this seems to be worse now they are pushing there internet stream system via sky glass&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Wifi is never as simple as it should be. I do use ethernet out of the Q into a wifi mesh node which sorted out a lot of my Q issues.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Like you say WiFi is never straight forward I have even tried turning all external connections off and only having the sky q and tv connected&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;to WiFi and the same issue remains I never had this issue in the past as I was able to download a uhd movie in less than ten minutes now a standard HD movie won't play until I have 25% down and that can take over an hour so even if I wait to start at 25% the film will catch up on itself before the end and I will be left waiting an age to get the rest of it&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is that bad that I now just use streaming services via tv to watch movies and I am thinking of dropping the entire service from sky&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
