Not an option to change anything on the router as I have a lot of smart home stuff that I would then need to change. I finally lost patience last night and dug out some ethernet cables, plugged the main sky q box onto my tplink power line and it all seems stable now. Not ideal as in trying to reduce cabling but it works.

As my router is quite a distance from my main sky box I have started using a tp link power line plug to connect the sky q box via WiFi. My issue is that I cannot remove the original router SSID from the sky q box and after a few minutes it reconnects to the original WiFi with the poor signal.

This might be a bit impracrical but what if you change the wifi password on the router?

Tried a Settings reset in the installer menu?
