How do I set the recording to capture the whole sporting event when it runs over

Live sport overrunning is a common topic on here particularly F1 races. You could record what is billed as the next programme as well.

unfortunately sky q recordings work according to the EPG schedule.

if the station does not update the schedule as it is being shown, then the recording will stop at the scheduled time

i do as the poster above suggest if recording sport and try to record the programmes scheduled afterwards in case that happens.
