I have not got a sky box but I keep getting verification codes? Why?

I did have a box lost in the post and the person who has it may be illegally trying to log in?

Did you get the missing box replaced? I don't think a sky Q box on its own would give a login attempt for a SkyID. Don't think they are linked to your account in any way until you set them up with your viewing card and that doesn't use a password

@Ezzica1 Is this a Sky stream puk ? as they need to be activated on you account and also use verification codes

Two possibilities, either someone has your Sky log in details but is being prevented from signing in due to 2 factor authentication or someone has added a phone number to their account & mistyped the digits so that they match your number, if they turned on 2fa then their codes will be sent to that mis-entered number.
