Please can anyone advise where to get a genuine 5 meters HDMI cable as slightly not long enough with putting tv on wall. Thanks

Hi @Tinytots Try Amazon high speed HDMI cable. All HDMI cables are genuine! I hope that you don't expect to get a good UHD picture. Maximum recomended length is only 3 metres.

Longer cables are unlikely to degrade the UHD picture.

Normally they either work or don't work if not capable of 4K.

Using a 4 metre cable here with no issues.

You could try a 5 metre which you should be able to return if it doesn't work.

Edit.

If you are burying the cable in the wall, put it in trunking so that it can always be removed in the future.

We did tend to warn agaisnt going beyond 3m for UHD but I think cables are getting better as @oldfella advises.

IIRC @Chodley has used a 5m one but be warned they may not all work at that distance for UHD
