topic Bbc in Sky Q

Can someone help me please. I know a lot of answers ref BBC Iplayer or BBC channels have been answered.

But mine is different:

Downstairs SkyQ - I can watch all BBC Channels & BBC IPlayer

Upstairs SkyQ mini box linked to main box. I can watch BBC Channels but NOT BBC Iplayer.

I don't need to use SkyGo with having the two boxes but my sons do through their Xbox and PlayStation and they have no issues

When I go to BBC Iplayer on upstairs mini box it's telling me to i can only log in on a iPhone or Android, laptop or tablet.

I pay full subscription to Sky to have everything through both boxes so why can't I get the BBC Iplayer upstairs?

desperately need help as I love going to bed to watch tv while he's watching the footie downstairs.

What exactly appears on screen when you try to access iPlayer on your mini box?

You have to sign in to use iPlayer on a TV, using a phone, tablet, pc/laptop etc, it might just be asking you to do that.

I go on Sky then to Apps then to BBC Iplayer. It then takes me into BBC Iplayer. Then the screen says sign in from a mobile or computer. So I click on that. Then it says sign in using your mobile or computer again puts go to bbc.com/tvcode which I do then enter the code on the tv which I do.

Then nothing happens on my TV I sign off it as it says go back in as it says it needs time to refresh itself

When I did what I was supposed to do as above for some reason it wouldn't update itself on my iPhone 12. So I got my laptop out and followed the instructions on there and it worked.

I used the address bar on my laptop whereas my mobile only allowed via Google search.

So I am as happy as a pig 🐖 rolling (removed)

It's now working however today I'm subjected to god knows how many day time football matches and a bit too early for bed.

So I'm happily baking in the kitchen ☺️
