I have a big sky package but no tnt even tho I read online I could get it free

Phones sky today and they say it's not true

TNT cannot be 'free': its owners have spent billions acquiring rights to content and would consequently rather prefer viewers to be paying for that.

I suspect you've seen promotional material indicating it's available though Sky hardware when a subscription is with BT (legacy) or TNT themselves, and in the rather clumsy overlap with Discovery+ (which is 'free' on Sky Q/Glass/Stream for non-Sport content)
