When starting my tv the screen is asking me to enter my viewing card into the box but I can't find my card at the moment

Out of curiosity is there a reason you removed the viewing card from the Sky Q box in the first place?

It's okay I didn't realise that it was in the box and had just come out when I dusted the box , sorry thanks

If you can't find it, you can ask Sky for a replacement to be sent. Ordering a replacement will disable your old Card so make sure you've had a good look for it first!
