Connected mini box to a different router

I have a garden room which has a separate router that is connected by ethernet to the main router which the main box works. Can i still run the mini box off the other router or will it not see the base box? hope that makes sense

@jon48 Running 2 routers on the same network is surely going to lead to major headaches, a network switch would be a better choice of you have ethernet in the garden office.
