I use my Sky Q box with a JBL 9.1 Soundbar. The issue is, the sound keeps randomly dropping out when I change channels, or start watching a recording. It only fixes itself if I switch the Sky Q box off and on again, or keep pausing/unpausing, or rewinding a few seconds and then playing again.
I have the sound settings on Dolby Digital Plus, to enable Dolby Atmos sound.
I had a Sky engineer out to try and fix this, but all he did was change the HDMI cables around - although this appeared to resolve the issue, I realised that I could no longer receive/play HDR Broadcasts, and the sound wasn't full Dolby Atmos.
I shouldn't have to compromise on a premium service that I pay for, just for the sound to work!

Does anyone have any solutions that aren't just a workaround??
