Yikes? I'm here for help, no pre-empting anyone being an idiot, simply asked no one to suggest to avoid wasting time, because I already know it's not the issue, that's all.

No minis, just the original SkyQ box. I have now also reset both wifi anf skyQ at the same time, as requested by sky. Still the same problem, it connects no issue, then disconnects within 20 seconds

Hello all, Merry Christmas.

Since this morning, my SKYQ has been showing an error with Network Connection.

I am with BT for WiFi, not SKY. It is not an issue with the broadband so please do not suggest this.

I reconnect, enter the password and it connects to the internet no problem. Then all of a sudden, it disconnects again in about 20 seconds. Ive tried resetting the SKYQ, leaving it hours before trying again, nothing works. Help?

Nice of you to pre-empt us being idiots and claiming it's your broadband.

Have you got any minis? Try turning those off at the wall while you reconnect the Q then switch them back on after it's connected.

How far apart are the wifi and Q? Walls between? Other wifi networks from neighbours overlapping?

Q is very flakey/fussy on wifi compared to most other devices.

In the same room, no walls between, doesn't seem to be any other wifi causing issues with connection. it's a weird one

Strange. Sometimes with BT routers separating the 2.4 (which the Q uses) and 5GHz SSIDs so they have different names but I'm not sure every BT hub allows you to do that.

The BT hubs also have a "smart" wifi option which can cause problems. Could try turning that off.

If it's the same room, could you run ethernet between them?
