topic Pin Number in Sky Q

I recently got Sky Q and tonight was the first time since then that I wanted to watch Sky Arts as "An American in Paris " was on. Every time I tried to access it, it kept telling me I needed to enter a Pin Number before I could watch. I've had Sky for 13 years and never had a Pin Number and always been able to watch Sky Arts. Why am I suddenly being asked for a Pin Number?

The pin number is the last 4 digits of your viewing card number. You could be being asking for this is the program you are watching is age restricted and if being broadcast before the evening watershed.

I have never had to use my pin number to access sky arts or any of the sky channels - now all of a sudden I have to 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am a sky Q customer who is considering leaving

@SaraLloyd its the lastb 4 digits of your viewing card You can find your viewing card number by pressing home scrolling down to settings then system info
