What is it exactly you're asking about? What is your issue/query?

FYI, SKY Q does not plug in to older BT phone wall connections anymore, just needs access to the internet via your broadband router, either on Wi-Fi or ethernet cable.

I received a mail from sky asking I should check if I have a BT compatible socket on my wall if not I should call them

Hi @Vicky322,

I'm assuming you're either about to get SKY broadband, or SKY TV + Broadband?

In order for you to actually get broadband you need access to a simple phone line, for ADSL broadband, for Fibre Broadband, there's usually a new faceplate fitted. As long as you have one of the sockets mentioned here, you should be OK to progress.
