Unable to record TNT box office

Has anyone else ordered the TNT Box office UFC296 but are unable to record it?

I had to order it on line as was unable to do it through my remote....now cant seem to set it to record.

Is there a fix for this?

The only way to record it is by ordering the event via your box itself because as you have discovered when doing it online it will not allow you to record it.

My Q box didn't let me buy it via my remote , that's why I ordered it online .

Honestly this is terrible.... I couldn't buy with the remote. Had to do it online and now can't record. Waste of money... o can't stay up this late to watch it.

UPDATE: Check your recordings... it doesn't look like it's being recorded... but it seems like it is!

The main event (box office) hasn't started yet - just the prelims which isn't ppv

I did the same but apparently I've now found out you can't record, so now I've missed UFC296! I won't be buying TNT PPV again!

i couldn't book via remote so hit record after purchased online, wake up now to watch it and it's not recorded it, next showing at 12 apparently

absolutely fuming!!

They will be re-run showings up until Wednesday. They are plenty scheduled so you shouldn't miss it unless you run into spoilers.

Quick question, are ya'll subscribed to TNT via Sky or directly? I'm wondering if that makes a difference to box office features.

Also why are they advertising that we can record of Sky+, who even uses that anymore?

This seriously needs to be sorted out...

To be able to record TNT PPV you have to book it from the Sky remote. If you do it online or they do it for you via the call centre then you'll need to watch it live or watch the catch-up which is repeated multiple times throughout the week. Your PPV payment entitles you to watch them as often as you want while they're up for viewing.

If it doesn't allow you to use the remote then it's possible that you have an unpaid previous event and you need to call them to resolve that first. While there, once your account is up to date, ask them to turn off the PPV entitlement and back on. This will tell the Sky box you are entitled to make a booking. It's a glitch from the BT PPV days.

Edit: obviously, once updated make sure you use the remote to book it, it may not be instant so don't shout at the agent if not.

No unpaid bills

couldn't use the remote to book , no warning that I would be unable to record - couldn't find a solution on their web site , after an age I got through to an off shore call centre who had pigeon English - no help .

Did you ask them to turn off the PPV entitlement and back on or was that beyond them?

Online there used to be a message that you wouldn't be able to record if booking online although I can't see it myself now so perhaps somethings changed? Ahh, just found it in the FAQs. "The event will only be available to record if you’ve bought via your Sky remote and have Sky+ enabled. If you’ve bought online or over the phone, then you won’t be able to record." I'm not 100% what having Sky+ enabled actually means though.

They replied saying they couldn't get hold of me (lie)

then proceeded to give the usual mumble, basically saying you lost your money

Didnt read FAQ's prior to booking , thought Id just be able to pay my money and view / record as normal.

Ive emailed a complaint but ulitimatly , ruined the whole thing as I couldnt stay awake for the 2 main events.

Don't blame you. Strange that they've removed the message online when booking. You'll still have access to the repeats BTW.
