    <description>&lt;P&gt;Our sky a box is hardwired to a BT hub. It's always worked fine it in the last 3 days has stopped connecting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;tried resetting the tv, hub and sky q box and still the same issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It's always worked fine it in the last 3 days has stopped connecting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;tried resetting the tv, hub and sky q box and still the same issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3927197"&gt;@Frustrated14&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;, It's possible that even though you have connected your Sky Q box via hardwire that it is actually connecting via WiFi, the reason for this is that Sky Q default setting is to always try to connect via a WiFi connection, best way to stop this is go into settings via the Engineer menu&amp;nbsp; as follows :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Follow these instructions in successively, with no breaks between steps:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Press the ‘Home’ button on your remote control.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Scroll down to ‘Settings’ and&amp;nbsp;DO NOT&amp;nbsp;press select.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Press ‘001’.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Press ‘Select’&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Once in that menu scroll to "Network" and turn both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi to the "Off" position, then "Save" .&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Then reboot the system and in theory your connection will be made via Ethernet.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
