Sky hd upgrade

Hi,

i have skyQ and the programmes i record on bbc channel keep coming up with the upgrade to Hd but i already have Hd as i have a skyq box.

how do i get rid of the sign so i can watch my programmes in full screen as half of it is covered!

Having a Q box doesn't automatically mean you get the HD channels, you really should but Sky still charge extra. Are you paying for HD, ultimate package is it called??

yes i pay extra dor Hd and my bbc channel says Hd when i go into 101

HI @Miiss_Ess

Make sure that any recordings are scheduled from the HD channel and not from the older SD channel.

Go into Home - Recordings - Scheduled to check on future recordings to make sure the BBC recordings are from the HD version.

If you find any are Series Linked from the SD version , first select Remove Series Link , then Select Cancel Recording & then go back to the TV guide to add back on, making sure they are from the HD version

NB the SD channel names do not say SD - but the HD versions say HD at the end

If downloading - again make sure you select the HD version (possibly by using an All Formats option)

Yeah it must be fecording the SS channel because thay banner is embedded in the actual SD broadcast. The box doesn't overlay it.
