Sky Q box, orange light on standby, but works

Hi all,

I had Sky Q installed yesterday (Sky broadband last week), I noticed that the light goes orange when on standby but turns on (goes green) and seems to work fine, is this normal? I thought the light should go red when in standby.

I've seen a lot of posts about the light being orange and not turning on or suggesting there is a problem with the equipment, so just a bit concerned.

Any help is appreciated.

orange is normal in standby.

Thanks for confirming. When I got up this morning it had gone red, I assume it goes into a deeper power saving mode or something?

Yeah between 2:45 and 5ish usually.
