How do you cancel through your Sky account the subscription for Lionsgate that was arranged through the Sky Q box?

Yeh I tried that and ended up speaking to somebody in a call centre in India who couldn't understand me and then went on to tell me that Lionsgate isn't showing on my account, yet when I check my bill on Sky they are debiting me £5.99 for it. The customer service is an absolute joke.

According to Lionsgate you can cancel Lionsgate+ via the Sky Marketplace.

The easiest way to access Sky Marketplace on Sky Glass is to say ‘Hello Sky, go to My Sky’.

If you have a Sky Stream puck or Sky Q, press the Voice button on your Sky remote and say "My Sky".

If you don’t want to use your voice, follow these steps:

Press Home on your Sky remote, then select My Sky at the bottom of the screen.

You’ll then see a screen with your purchases. Select Your products. You’ll then be asked to enter your Sky TV PIN number.

Then follow the prompts to cancel.

That doesn't work. Nothing shows up on my sky account. Lionsgate say I need to contact sky and nothing shows up on sky

@Jam99 You'll need to call Sky I'm afraid.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Thanks for the info, this worked.

How come it is so difficult to cancel anything through Sky. Anyone else is completely transparent with there signup and cancellations. Sky is so unintuitive, and on their website it is impossible to find a cancellation option, or even a phone number. Even their chat bot is useless. Sorry for the rant, but someone at Sky needs to sort this out.

I've been trying to cancel LIONSGATE+ for three weeks now everything I have tried does not work I will have no option but to call sky, I have done all the prompts I go onto my sky. I press the right buttons that when I get to the page, all I get is the Lionsgate app I click on it and it just opens the screen and it says start watching I don't want to watch. I want to cancel it. It's so frustrating.

Try the following exact procedure on your Sky Q box...

Press Home

Scroll down and press My Sky

Scroll across and press Your Products

Enter your tv PIN number

Scroll down and presss App subscriptions then current

Highlight Lionsgat+ monthly and press enter

Scroll down and press Manage subscription

Scroll down and press Cancel subscription

Press confirm

After a few seconds you should get confirmation on screen

Thank you I finally managed it. I didn't understand my product bit but I've done it now and as of the 19th of November it will be cancelled. I only subscribed so I could watch outlander and then it finished on series 7 but I'd already watched up to series 6 anyway, so I'd have to re-subscribe when I bring out the new one.

I found that when I tried to follow the instructions to cancel it on my main Sky Q box, it didn't provide the options mentioned above. But when I tried it on my other box(we have Sky Multiroom) it worked. So if you're having problems cancelling, try doing it on your secondary Sky Q box. It worked for me!
