Activation code not appearing on TV

Hi everyone,

We recently switched to sky tv and broadband and got a sky q mini box I believe. The WiFi is working but we cannot pair it with the tv. We were told to log into our my sky account and use the activation option which requires you to enter a verification code which should appear on the tv. However we cannot find any such code when we go into sky on the tv.

Does anyone know how to resolve this without calling sky?

A Q Mini only 'pairs' (connects using WPS) with a main Q box, which requires a signal from a satellite dish.

As @nigea99 indicates, what you've got sounds like a Stream puck.
