Sky Q using Alexa

I have seen a number of posts about using Alexa voice control of Sky Q (without a 3rd party box like Harmony) to turn it off/on and choose channets etc. However, the sparce detail included doesn't seen to work.

Does anyone have any information on how to set this up properly please and that has already got it working successfully?

There isn't a way without some third party equipment. I believe LG TV's can do this with their inbuilt Alexa connected to Q.

Hi @Neill525047 As with everything Alexa, the starting point is always to find a Skill in the Alexa App. If no skill exists then it is not possible (which I believe is the case for Sky TV).
