Sky Q Mini Box return or keep as booster

Hi, we have just cancelled Sky but keeping their broadband. I thought the Sky Q mini was classed as thr broadband booster and would be kept, but it is listed to be returned.

Is this a mistake or do you not get to keep as a booster if not having their TV package?

Hi @Bamton

Afraid all Q equipment is only on loan and always owned by Sky.

Everything must be returned at the end of your subscription.

Any upfront payments you made when you started your subscription were activation charges.

The mini is only a booster as a side effect of having Q. You can't keep it just for that purpose. I'm sure you can get a booster from them if your broadband isn't giving a wifi signal round the house though.

Hi @Bamton SkyQ Mini boxes are part of a SKY TV package and not a broadband package, so would have to be returned when a SKY TV subscription is terminated.
