Recording removing itself

I recorded an EFL football game on Saturday at 5pm to 8.30 ISH.

I got back from same match at 10 and started to watch the aftermath interviews. At 11pm I paused and turned off TV as per usual,hoping to watch the rest on Sunday.

Come Sunday the recording has disappeared.

I spoke to sky and they said it may have been because it was a limited broadcasting time.

This seems somewhat unfair as it would gave only given me 3 hrs to watch 3.5 hrs of recording.

I've rebooted in usual way and checked it's not on deleted programs.

Any advice would be great ,as I can't get the total match and interviews off sky any more???

@TSD58 from your post I suspect you were watching the aftermatch interviews live rather than from the recording?

I would therefore suggest that rather than the box deleting the recording that it never actually recorded it for some reason.

I have had several rugby matches which failed to record on TNT Sports, despite me setting the recordings earlier in the week.

As for their time limited recording explanation- never heard of that in 20 years of having sky - I would say that is bull***t.
