Sky Q box not working

Hi,

When I turn my Sky Q box on the screen just appears black. I've switched it off at the mains and turned it on again but still getting the same thing.

What colour is the LED on the right hand side; Amber or Green?

Also do you get the onscreen message after switching the Q box off at the mains and restarting.

Is the TV turned on and on the correct HDMI input?

Yeah tv is on and on yhe correct hdmi input

Try pressing the Sky button on your remote.

Tried that. It just switches the box from on to standby.
