TV going off intermittently

My TV has been going off every day for months now, sound and or picture disappears then just comes back on its self it's very frustrating please can someone come out to check it.

Sounds like a ropey HDMI cable

if the TV isn't faulty.

Changed cables about 4 times and still goes off in middle of programs, how can we check it's not the TV?

What happens when it goes "off"?

where did you get those cables?

Did you try a different HDMI socket on the TV?
