Cannot redeem Apple TV+ 6 month offer

I have been trying to redeem the Apple TV+ 6 month offer, got the code from the Sky VIP app, click on the link and get stuck on the redeem offer page...
Clicking on the "Redeem Now" button only reloads the page and nothing else happens!

I tried different browsers, logging in to Apple TV's website (I already have a subscription), opening the Apple TV app...nothing worked...

Any help will be very appreciated.

Update:

Spoke with customer and was resolved by closing the My Sky app and download the Apple TV app on the phone or tablet. Then go back to the Apple TV+ giveaway in the My Sky app and click the link to restart the activation of the trial.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, go to the email you got confirming the giveaway and click the link there.

Using my phone (with the Apple TV app installed) worked when clicking on the confirmation email link...

Have tried all of that, but simply stuck on the redeem page. Have deleted and re-downloaded both the sky and appletv app and still can't get past the redeem button.

Ok hold fire! Did nothing different but tried again 5 minutes later and it worked first time. I wonder if Apple had an issue with a server somewhere?

I too am having the same problem. I am using my phone. I deleted and re-downloaded both apps. I have tried the link in the Sky app and the link I received in an email. They all take me to the same redeem page and then just keeps reloading when I click on "Redeem Now".

It's definitely an issue on Apple's side. Only opening the link from the email with the Apple TV app (and being logged in) on my iPhone worked...and it sounds like it may be a bit on and off. Maybe keep trying?

On the 'Giveaways' section in Sky VIP and then I had to scroll down for my offer on my google phone. I could not find this giveaway on my TV though. This is where the dillema ensued for us. I will now try to go the the TV and see if this action has actually worked for us this time. So fingers crossed 😄

I get as far as being given an activation code and my credit card verified then ziltch. I cannot sing in anywhere and I am not asked for the activation code on Apple TV, I am just offered a paid subscriprion. I tried this on my Samsung TV, My LG TV (when my main SkyQ box is), and on my Mac computer.

I accepted VIP 6 month free offer as well. Did it on my iPad, success. BUT, can't figure out how to watch it on my TV? When I go to AppleTV+ app there it just offers 7 day free trial? Help please, Don

@captdon On Sky Q, you should have the Apps section, when you head over to the Apple Tv one there should be a way for you to sign up with your Apple ID.

I go to VIP area on my Sky app. all options are grey in colour and don't respond by tapping on.
