Sky Q remote not pairing with sound system

Sky Q (voice control) remote has always been paired to TV & soundbar. The remote has recently intermittently stopped working with both the box & TV. Stupidly thought it needed resetting so I tried that, and it disconnected from the TV but was still working on the soundbar. Then tried the setup again, and now I've got it working on the TV but none of the pre-sets will work for the soundbar and the model does not show either. Seen previous posts that maybe the remote has a fault, but unsure! Nothing has changed with my setup, just the remote not working occasionally.. any ideas?
