Sky mini box not recognising remote control

Sky mini box does start by pressing button on it manually but it will not recognise my remote. I have tried reactivating on the main sky q box and mini box. The remote allows me to turn on the tv and change volume but that's it. There is a communication issue between the remote and both TVs so perhaps remote is broken?
I have changed batteries and no different. I cannot use settings on mini box tv to check remote for the reasons above.
Any ideas?

Try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared

The reset will also stop it working with yur TV until it is re-paired
