Good morning

we currently don't have Netflix but have read as a Sky Q customer you can get Netflix for free ! Is this correct and if so how do I go about getting it .

Netflix Basic is bundled with the Ultimate TV subscription: it's not in Signature or the legacy Entertainment subscriptions.

Whether it's actually 'free' depends on the price that Sky is prepared to offer you for Ultimate TV, but it's somewhat cheaper than subscribing directly with Netflix themselves.

Netflix Basic is then upgraded to Netflix Standard by the Sky HD add-on, and to Netflix Premium by the Sky UHD add-on.

Typically moving from Signature to Ultimate TV would require starting a new 18 month minimum term.

I'm getting Sky Q tomorrow. Do I have to have an account subscription to use Netflix

To use Netflix you need a subscription - either direct with Netflix or slightly cheaper via SKY

If you are new to SKY then the chances are that Netflix is bundled as part of your subscription - if moving from SKY HD, I think it will depend on anything negotiated

(Netflix via SKY is listed as Ultimate TV add on)

If you have got it through SKY as pert of your subscription then when you first use Netflix it will guide you through creating a Netflix account to use - if you already have a Netflix account & now subscribe through the process should migrate your account to retain settings and cancel the direct sub.
