OK: you shouldn't have done that. All Q television hardware is loaned, not sold (even where a fee has been paid) and so user intervention inside the boxes is not legitimate.

If there's an ongoing issue, the correct route is to log it with Sky and get the box swapped out.

Watching in delay crashing

Sky Q main box about 7 years old. Been faultless until recently. Issue mainly when watching F1 in UHD in delay, i.e. it's still recording when I start watching.
The issue is the screen will freeze intermittently on play back as though it's buffering. Sometimes the recording gets corrupted and won't play back at all.
started to notice more on regular HD shows and channels.
i opened the box and cleaned out quite a bit of dust (I know what I'm doing) as i noted the box was getting quite hot.
innow have it on stilts to allow air flow, but it still gets hot. I also note that the connection the SkyQ Mini often drops out. We have a Sky Briadband network.

Suggestions and help appreciated. I have updated the software, have tried wires and wireless networks, changed all the cables and turned it on/off multiple times.
