topic Non-functioning TV in Sky Q

We have endless problems getting our tv to work. We know we have strong wi-fi in the room as BT have just boosted it. We keep getting knocked off the network and when we go to settings we get two x's. We go through the steps/procedures given again and again but they never resolve the problem. Currently the black box in the top left corner says "no satellite signal" and on the blue part it says "You're not connected to Sky Q box right now". Both these conditions seem to be ongoing.

Two separate issues.

A 'no satellite' signal probably needs a Sky engineer to investigate. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal

The WiFi connection requires a 2.4GHz signal for non-Sky ISP. Ensure your BT router has this band enabled and is not steering to 5GHz as this will drop the connection.
