Why can't I no longer watch my Sky Arts Sd channel recordings on my Sky Q box? It is saying' to watch this channel, please upgrade your subscription' but I already have Sky Arts as part of my subscription! This is so annoying

Are these Recordings (ie from live TV) or Downloads (ie from Catch Up etc)?

Recordings from live tv in SD, I watched one of them about half way and then I decided to watch the rest of it last night but it won't let me and I get that message at the top of the page.

Have you tried rebooting your Q box @Quorn

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

@oldfella Thanks for your reply, it didn't work however I think I know the reason why I can't watch certain recordings, it's because even though my Sky Arts channel recording isn't Sky Arts HD channel it is Sky Arts recorded in Hd!
I have set all future recordings in my preferences to record in SD from now on so I will be able to watch them later.

Hi @Quorn

You cannot set preferences for Recordings.

Preference set in Settings is for Downloads only.

If you are recording from live satellite TV and you do not have the HD add on then I believe

Sky Arts (SD) will be CH 130
Sky Arts HD will be CH 826

If you are recording satellite TV then there is no possibility of HD content being in the SD channel.

I suspect you are referring to Downloads and not recordings from the TV Guide.

I also cannot view sky arts landscape artist of the year as from a week ago. I recorded it and also have tried to watch on catch up. I have changed to SD on the settings as requested but with no luck. I had no problem before last week. Any help appreciated.
