Sky q remote

I have received a new Sky Qremote but cannot seem to get it to activate. I cannot de activate my old one as it has been destroyed. I have tried pointing it at the box and pressing 1 and 3 but it doesn't work! Please help!

Hi @Vicky16 Does the LED light up when you press the "?" key? It should control the Sky Q box unpaired (line of sight). Note there is no need to deactivate the old one as the new new should overwrite it.

Hi @Vicky16

You need the Q box on with green led.

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
