Does anyone know if sky multi screen mini box connects through Wi-Fi or does it need hard wireing

hi @arsenal54

Mini Boxes need to be connected to the TV via an HDMI cable

If you are referring to connection to the main box it can be wifi or ethernet

Does it also need the standard cable to receieve satelite data as per the main box? Or is it entirely done via internet. Only asking as my internet is rural and so not entirely reliable. I normally watch TV via the satelite cable.

No. It receives live broadcasts and plays back recordings via a wireless link to the main box.
