Random Sky q mini remote buttons not working

Hi all I have 2 mini sky q boxes. On my mums remote some of the buttons stopped working so I tried resetting box and was still the same. I Then tried resetting and reconnecting the remote and was still the same so I bought a replacement remote and it worked fine upon connecting.

After a few days we now have the same problem. I've tried switching the mini boxes to see if that would work but it's the same. I've tried looking here for help but just kept seeing reset remote help.
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi @richard180

Unlikely that a replacement remote would develop the same fault after a few days.

When you switched the minis did you keep the same remote with each mini?

That was to a different mini I assume @richard180

And did it pair successfully?

It paired but some buttons still wouldn't work
