Obtain Discovery plus

I have TNT sports via Sky and have looked at how to obtain Discovery plus. It says first open Discovery+ app via SkyQ. No problem. Next 'confirm Discovery+ subscription through Sky'. Can someone translate this into an instruction on what to actually do? Do I enter Sky password etc or open a Discovery membership with new password using Sky details or what? As it stands this instruction doesn't mean anything concrete at least to me.
