Hi have sky Q T2? need to buy new tv will I be able to just reconnect the cables from my new tv to my sky Q box? I am a techno phobe so am hoping it's easy, will I need to register the new tv make on my sky Q remote also?

Hi @Barbiport

Should not be any difficulty and as you suggest you just connect the Q box HDMI lead to your new TV..

Unless it is the same brand you will have to re pair the remote to new TV to control TV volume and power on/off.

You can completely reset your Bluetooth remote.

Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Thank you @oldfella ill give it a go, yes it will be another Samsung but an LED instead of my old faithful LCD! 👍

Hi @Barbiport

You may be lucky and find that the remote works with the new TV.

If it doesn't it's a very simple pairing procedure.
