remote pairing

I have an old sky remote which is broken. I have bought a sky q remote but can't pair it until i unpair the old one but unable to do this as it is not working. how can I pair the new one?

I assume you have Sky Q rather than Sky+ where you've posted.

Hi @jenny5

You don't need to unpair the broken remote as the new one will just overwrite it

First I suggest you reset your new remote & then try to pair it.

Try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red Led above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared
