Sky q not working

Yesterday we had no satellite signal but could watch recordings, download and use apps. Tonight there is nothing already booked an engineer for next Friday 20th but not sure can cope with that any suggestions? Sky broadband is working benn through turn it off and on etc

@debbyj Sky Q needs a satellite siognal to keep the bpx alive, without opne it will eventially stop working.

There is no work arounds to get on demand back. Turning your broadband off & on ill have zero affect

Thank you so the information that Sky provide ie you will still be able to view recordings, apps and on demand is incorrect

so we have a week without access to an expensive service ☹️

Yes but as Sky doesn't work with Chromecasr that isn't the easiest option

@debbyj if you have a laptop with a hdmi output then connect that to your TV by hdmi
