&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately it isn't as simple as changing the mode on the SKY Q box to SCR mode to use a single cable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A normal wideband LNB needs both cables and uses each of the cables to provide the 'wideband' signal for each polarity (one Horizontal &amp;amp; one Vertical) - it cannot react to&amp;nbsp; &amp;amp; provide the signals in SCR mode.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;SCR mode is usually used for Communal systems that have electronic distribution equipement that can react to the signals sent in SCR mode from the box and then send the correct signal to the SKY Q box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I believe there are some LNBs available that can be used in SCR mode but SKY do not supply (&amp;amp; may not support ) them&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Additionally ordinary coax is very unlikely to be&amp;nbsp; suitable for Satellite signals that need the correct shielding, low attenuation etc.&lt;/P&gt;
