No sound when hd selected

To use my headphones i have to connect a toslink cable and dac convertor, to th sky q box. every thing works then other than hd channels. Is there a way round this please.

hi @Robert1952

HD channels use Dolby Digital - if your set up cannot handle this set the output to Normal

Home - Settings - Setup - Audio Visual

Digital audio output HDMI

Hi @Robert1952

As you are using the Optical audio output for your toslink cable it the Optical Audio out settings in you Q box that you need to set to Normal.

Q Home menu - Settings - Setup - Audio Visual.

Set Optical Audio out to Normal

oops - I should have mentioned that setting as well as this is more likely for this
