Do you have to have a new box to run UHD

I've got a 4K uhd tv but my sky q box won't allow me to watch anything in UHD, no option to change from 1080p, is there a new box I have to get to be able to watch it in UHD.

@TomL88 sounds like you may have the original 1TB box which is not capable of UHD have a look at the link below as under Sky Q software it explains the different box models
