My sky Q box will not upgrade the software update so can not watch uhd on my mini boxes ?

Q Mini boxes are not and never have been capable of UHD output: they don't contain UHD video chipsets or the necessary HDMI 2.0 port.

SKy Q minis do not support UHD so no update would enable this

Sky Q mini boxes can't receive UHD.
