Sky not working

sky has not been working since Saturday. There's a message on the screen saying "to use this service, you need a satellite signal". Nothing has changed at the house, the satellite has never been touched. I called the sky number but was redirected to here. Please can someone sort the issue as soon as possible

You aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here. This is a forum whereby customers try to help other customers.

If it displays no satellite signal take a look at the troubleshooting on the appropriate section of this link.

You may then need to contact Sky and arrange for an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. Be aware that if you’re on a communal dish system you’ll have to contact your landlord or building management company rather than Sky.
