Sky Q Internet connection

Sky Q - connect to router but not internet

0. reset network connection - no luck

1. restarted router and sky box - no luck

2. checked network cable on another device all good

3. tried to connected to wifi - won't connect

only conclusion i can think is the network card in the Sky Q box is caput ! Last idea is a factory reset - but before I do any ideas

Have the same issue on 2 stream pucks. Both were fine earlier today but now only connect to router but cannot reach the internet. Tried Ethernet and Wi-Fi.

Although this is the Q forum... sounds similar to the Q->virgin media issue some were having recently. Tried changing their DNS to 1.1.1.1?

If it's really connecting to the router the network is working. Also suggest trying the DNS hack above.

Ok it resolved itself with no changes to DNS or any more restarts of box/router/mesh network ... after 40 years in IT i'm never happy without a root cause
