Change channels with Sky Q box

The remote wont work & am waiting for a new one

In the meantime can i change tv channels using my mobile phone.i have skygo on my phone. I have looked in the settings on the app but it does not give this option

hi @Bompa1 The SKY Go app on Iphone now has the ability but not yet on Android I am afraid.

You may be able to find a third party app but I am not sure

Or, while your waiting for the replacement it might be quicker to purchase a new one from a retailer / main supermarket. If you do that as well you’ll always have a spare.

As mentioned above,

If you have an Apple iPhone or iPad running version 13 or above, you can now use Sky Go to control your Sky Q boxes, via an inbuilt remote control.

Most tv remotes will operate external devices my LG magic remote operates my Sky Q box apologies if yours doesn't @Bompa1
