    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2617281" target="_self"&gt;oldfella&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do not remember how many times that I have done this and I still constantly lose internet connection.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do not work for sky, I only pay for a service which is not working. The excuses that I receive from the service engineers are many and mostly unbelievable..&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Too much power on the PoE from my switch. ( my switch does not have PoE facilities).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Internet is the problem, get it fixed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my switch was faulty, so I changed it, no difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The sky box can not understand the router that I have, so I have to change my router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The colour code on my RJ45 lead are not right., even though they are the same at both ends.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The twists in my RJ45 cable are not correct so this is interfering with the data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Ping is too slow. (I am a gamer so I know that there is no problem with my Ping or speed.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;etc.et.,.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do not want a refund, I just want the thing to work, after 3 years I am starting to lose the will to live.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RedSquirrel05&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Try first rebooting your Router by disconnecting the power lead for 30 sec and then reconnecting.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Wait until the router is completely back up and running and then reboot the main Q box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.&lt;BR /&gt;Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.&lt;BR /&gt;Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
