Using HDMI with Ethernet cable to pass internet connection from Sky Q to Smart TV

My Sky Q box has the only Ethernet connection in that part of my house. My new smart TV can take HDMI with ethernet via cable (HEC /HEAC). Can Sky Q output Ethernet to my tv via HDMI with Ethernet cable so I don't have to create a new dedicated ethernet cable connection. Please note I do not want alternative answers like Wi-Fi dongles etc - just whether Sky Q can pass through Ethernet.

Hi @Splinter7 Why are you not using a simple unmanaged gigabit switch? Or are you saying the Sky Q box mesh is on a dedicated local network.

I have other ideas but simply wanted an answer to that specific question as I could find nothing elsewhere.
