Toshiba TV cannot switch off using Sky remote

Hi all

i have a new Toshiba TV and have paired the Sky remote. I can switch the TV on, volume, change inputs etc...

however I cannot switch the TV off. I get a 'Power off - do you want to shut down?' message. I cannot press ok as the sky remote doesn't have the option.

any ideas?

@Martyn+Struebig sometimes if you press the off button too long it will bring this up try only pressing the off button on the Sky remote for 3 to 4 seconds if it still does it it may be a setting on the TV what model of Toshiba TV is it that you have

Mine is doing exactly the the same, and the annoying thing is, you then can't use the sky remote to confirm you want to turn it off and have to use the original TV remote. Can anyone help please ?
